Choosing the perfect swimwear

Its that time of that year again girls that most of us look forward to but can secretly dread at the same time. No, I'm not talking about Christmas but SUMMER!
We look forward to fruity cocktails, BBQs, camping, meeting with friends at the local beach pub but then it starts to sink in. Oh no, its summer already? What happened to my beach body plan? I could've sworn I only wrote it out a week ago...
So there are 3 more days until summer and here's some tips to find a great bikini.

Choose the right size
Denial won't get you anywhere, you will only look comfortable if you feel comfortable. Theres not point buying the sexiest bikini you can find if you want to cover up the whole time you're out.
If you feel you need a different sized bottom than top then find a store that mix and matches!

Show your support!
If you have a larger bust opt for bikinis with more support, I've found most one pieces have no support once they're wet. You can choose ones with the thick band under the bust or underwired. Steer clear from string bikinis, they're an accident waiting to happen.

Coverage
This could also fit under the above category to avoid busting at the seams, though I also mean the bottoms and how flexible they are. It may sound silly but while in the change room act out come of the moves you may be pulling out at the beach. Like sitting on the ground, bending over, attempting to throw a frisbee etc. Watch yourself in the mirror. Anything out of place? Showing too much?

Colour
Choose a colour or pattern that compliments your skin tone and body shape.

Black - helps flattering bulges but can make you look very white if you have a fair skin tone.
Brights - colours like yellows, bright pinks etc can enhance your features like cup size and booty!
Pastels - makes features appear smaller. Creams and whites hide your butt and make your skin look amazing!
Patterns - Blocks of colour on a one piece (particularly blacks, navies etc) will draw attention away from bulges, but smaller floral patterns, for example will only make you appear bigger.

Also avoid horizontal stripes on one pieces and tankinis if you are concerned about your waist line because they will only make your waist appear wider.

Hope that helps!
